Fan Zhang is originally from Yantai, China and is now living her dream in New York. Her work as a costume designer spans theatre, opera, dance, and film. Past collaborations include Chloe Treat, Terrence Mann, Christopher d'Amboise, Jack Plotnick, Seth Rudetsky, Michael Markham, Vincent Cardinal, Donald Brenner, and Tony Simotes, among others. She holds an MFA in Costume Design from University of Connecticut.

Fan is also an adjunct professor at County College of Morris in New Jersey, where she teaches Costume and Fashion Construction Technology. Fan likes to share her experience and culture with her students and colleagues.
